Evans Hall has a number of spaces named after donors, alumni, and other contributors to Yale SOM. Clients are encouraged to use the proper name of each named space in all event communications.
Room numbers are defined as follows -
- All room numbers are made up of 4 or 5 numbers and characters.
- The first number in the "thousands" place notes the floor number.
- All rooms are labeled 1 through 5, or L for lower level.
- The second number in the "hundreds" place notes the north/south location of the room within the building.
- A higher number indicates the room is more south, while a lower number indicated the room is more north.
- For example, classroom 2400 Class of 1980 is on the south side of the courtyard while classroom 2200 Blumetti is on the north side of the courtyard.
- A higher number indicates the room is more south, while a lower number indicated the room is more north.
- The third and fourth numbers in the "tens" and "ones" place notes the east/west location of the room within the building.
- Most room types follow the guideline that a lower number is further west (towards Whitney Ave and the Evans Hall main entrance).
- The breakout rooms are an exception to this guideline, with lower numbers being further east (towards the rear of Evans Hall).

- Letters placed at the end of a room number indicate a room or desk within a number suite.
