The SOM Information Technology Services department provides a variety of computing resources to the SOM Community.  Service Management and Processs Improvement services can help your department better define its' core processes, document them along with their inputs, outputs, and accountabilities.  We can also provide process improvement help by documenting and examining your processes and finding improvement and efficiency opportunities.  We can also provide process coaching to help your department define new processes as needed by changing business climate.

Service Managment SOM IT is a process based organization, and we have processes for service introduction, service improvement and service sunset.  We help other departments define their processes, accountabilities, inputs and outputs to ultimately provide great, repeatable, efficient, effective high quality services.


Process Improvement

Process Improvement is a method of documenting a single process or set of related processes along with any sweet spots or pain points and look for opportunities to improve the quality, turnaround time, while reducing or balancing efforts with automation.

Service CatalogsService Catalogs help create a listing of services a department offers, associated knowledge articles for self-help, and creates a location for internal standard operating procedures as well as external facing faq and help guides.
